Ultraseal to showcase its solutions for sealing die casting porosity at NADCA 2022

Ultraseal International, the global leader in porosity sealing will be showcasing a full suite of solutions at this year’s NADCA 2022 Die Casting Congress and Tabletop, demonstrating how the industry can achieve gains in quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Taking place at the Central Bank Center, Lexington September 13-15, 2022, the congress is designed to highlight key challenges and practical solutions to help manufacturers improve business performance.

One of the big challenges is porosity in die cast components, and Ultraseal, a Quaker Houghton company, is demonstrating at NADCA 2022 how vacuum impregnation is critical to driving efficiency and sustainability. Ultraseal will be promoting its full offer of impregnation chemicals, equipment, and services during the three-day event.

John Holmes, Application Sales Director at Ultraseal International said: “Ultraseal has been at the forefront of innovation for over 50 years and has developed a range of market-leading impregnation sealants, equipment, and services to help address a variety of challenges.

“In addition to sealants, we have developed unrivalled expertise in the design, development and manufacture of automated impregnation equipment and systems to ensure that we can meet production component processing requirements.”

Ultraseal recently acquired Baron Industries, a well-respected and highly experienced impregnation service business, in North America, with the plan for Ultraseal to expand its strategic presence and help promote the awareness of the Ultraseal brand to customers who are not currently looking for in-house impregnation solutions.

In addition to a market-leading range of conventional impregnation sealants, Ultraseal offers the option of high-performance recycling sealants and systems (which can be supplied with new impregnation systems or retro-fitted to existing vacuum impregnation equipment) which minimize environmental impact while also reducing sealant usage by up to 95%.

Ultraseal’s pioneering closed loop sealant recycling system drives efficiencies and virtually eliminates wastewater from the impregnation process – a vital consideration for manufacturers today. The technology includes fully recyclable impregnation sealants and robotic handling technology which can deliver real advantages.

Ultraseal will be situated at booth 302 at the NADCA 2022 Die Casting Congress and Tabletop, joining forces with its parent company, Quaker Houghton, the global leader in industrial process fluids.
